Raised in a poor family, dropped out school by age 15, struggled to make a living, got pregnant, became homeless, got widowed very early and tested positive for HIV/AIDS.
Marishet had been living a life full of struggles and mistreatment. Still, she fought hard to give her daughter a better life.
Years later her physical and economic situation worsened, and she was ready to give up her life – that is when she received our intervention.
With holistic support she was able to gain new hope for a change and a better life. She became physically healthy, began a small business which could grow continuously and experienced being loved like she never was before. It did not take long to see her becoming a shining and happy woman, even engaging in helping other women.
